First Post

After a lot of persuasion from my boyfriend, I finally decided to start my own blog. I’m not entirely sure exactly why he wanted me to start one, but I have a feeling its to get to know his “eerily silent girlfriend” a little better…. I guessed I overplayed “Mysterious Girl”!

This is my first entry on my shiny new blog, and I find myself spending more time on fiddling with the theme than thinking of what to write… I’ll just have to be satisfied with a crappy first post just to see what a long blog entry looks like on this theme.

There are many things happening in my life that I am so excited about! Firstly, I am going to buy a mac mini very soon!!!! I can finally start making a little extra money writing articles, and creating banners and other promotional material. Will start posting a few once I get my mac. Please do send in your comments and advice. I want to get really good at this real fast!

Secondly, I conducted my first set of interviews last evening for Radioverve at Sunday Jam at Guru Nanak Bhavan, Bangalore. The guy who normally covers the show was busy with exams so I filled in practically at the last minute. I was so nervous as I had no idea what questions and couldn’t even operate the recorder which I must say is a fine piece of electronic equipment! The guys/ girls there were so friendly that it was a breeze and I had a super time chatting with the bands there most of whom thought they were going to get some money for the interview! Will post pictures of the event soon.

My Dad is coming to stay with my sister Sheila and I for a week or so. He’s actually coming to Bangalore to watch the Bangalore Open tennis tournament which is starting today. I hope I get to watch to a few good matches!!!

On a different note, I need to change my style of writing to a more consistent form. That way I can get more number of short posts then clubbing all that I want to say into one long one. Hopefully I’ll fix this problem soon enough. Until then, please bear with me and my writing!
